Gangrene

There's no such cure, is there, as the one I seek? No opiate to sooth, no morphine to numb; no hallucinogen to make me dream of another place.

Drip. Drip. I'm so hollow inside that you can hear the obscene echo of my thoughts as they melt from my brain, pooling into a noxious waste somewhere near your feet. But you don't care. To you they're beautifully, but tragically tainted - a puddle with an ugly streak of oil which casts pretty colours if you happen to look the right way; fleetingly beautiful, but ultimately hideous.

Don't look too hard; you might see that these words are rotting - bleeding ink looks like gangrene, all purple and black and green. Tragically, disgustingly beautiful; and utterly wasted on you.

  3. Well actually I have already the blog...I'm not sure yet if I want to start a new one again...as it would take me much time to do it, and there's also the confidentiality thing which bothers me, as I write many personal things, I wonder if anyone can find my blogspot after on google with my mail address...which would really bother me^^

    Here's a link to my blog : www.thelostbook.skyrock.com

  4. Ooh, I like the name of your blog. You write poetry, I see. That's great! I'll have to sit down and read it all. If that's ok with you, of course. I can't read anything in French, but that's ok. Also, I see you're a Nightwish fan!

As for blogspot and confidentiality, you can change your settings so that your blog can't be found via search engines. At least, you used to be able to. I haven't looked at the settings for a while. You can also password protect your blog.

Of course it's okay for me, otherwise they wouldn't be on my blog lol XD

Yeah, sorry for the french parts, but don't worry, I write mainly in English...(not alway written in a correct way I must say). Yes I am a big fan of Nightwish...you too?

Hm I'll have to study about blogspot when I have some time, thanks for the informations ;)

  7. :D

Oh that's so cool! You know that it's thanks to them that I found one night some inspiration and began writing?

I'm sure you'll read some hints (if we can call these hints XD) or allusions to some NW songs...characters or even concepts :P (I admit I am deeply influenced by their music/lyrics which led me to create my own imaginary world :D)

  8. Me too! Their lyrics are absolutely incredible! The music too, of course. They singlehandedly inspired me to start writing. Poetry at first, but I was terrible at that, so moved on to prose. Don't worry, you'll find some references here too :) I think I even directly quoted Master Passion Greed once :P
